What Energy Spike Risk means
Energy Spike Risk is HQ's simple clue for foods that may raise energy fast and then crash fast.
A low spike risk usually means steadier energy. A high spike risk means Detective may want to compare it with a simpler food that has less sugar, more fiber, or less heavy processing.
It is not a medical diagnosis. It is a learning clue that helps Detective ask, “Will this hit fast, or stay steadier?”
What the score means
The score gives HQ a simple clue for comparing foods.
A higher score usually means the food looks simpler, steadier, and lower in warning signs. HQ looks at ingredients, processing, sugar level, fiber, sodium, protein, energy spike risk, and then gives vegan a small bonus.
